Boyds Mills (formerly Highlights Foundation) awarded Sarah the 2026 Kidlit Pride Scholarship for their nonbinary picture book manuscript, THE LIGHT IN BETWEEN.

The Kidllit Pride Scholarship honors noteworthy LGBTQIA2S+ storytellers with full tuition to a Boyds Mills in-person workshop.
